Out of respect for the other patients that are waiting please book a separate appointment for each separate issue and concern. Two separate visits are more valuable to you than one that is rushed.
We will do our best to accommodate you. Please be considerate of other patients and limit your concern to the urgent problem only. We do not prescribe narcotics or triplicate medications during walk-in visits.
We don’t like to make our patients wait; we try to stay on schedule as much as possible. Sometimes and unscheduled emergency may occur, and we ask for your patience if this does happen. If you are waiting an unusually long time, please accept our apology and feel free to reschedule your appointment.
All patients required to make follow-up appointments to discuss the results of Blood work, X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasounds, Mammograms and all other diagnostic imaging. The reports for these tests are usually available 2 weeks after the test is done.
Although we make every effort to contact you in the event of an abnormal result, you are strongly encouraged to make an appointment to discuss the results of all the tests.
If you have not been contacted regarding your consultation within 2 to 3 weeks, please call our office and we will follow up on the referral/do our best to find out what the problem is.
It is difficult to return a call during a busy office day. Please discuss your concern with our staff and they will advise you whether an appointment is necessary. It is better to make an appointment so that your concern can be addressed in person.
During an office visit you will be given a prescription for enough medication to last you until the next visit. Please plan ahead and make an appointment before your medication runs out.
Patients are expected to book yearly physical examinations.
Services not covered by Manitoba Health will be billed directly to you. The services and fee scale are posted in the clinic. These include sick notes, missed appointments, certain procedures and exams. Don’t hesitate to call us if you have questions regarding these charges.
